Mayors, Join Us.

Join the network that since 2014 has mobilized over 750 mayors across the country committed to leading on climate in their communities. Help build political will for federal and global climate action and learn best practices from fellow mayors.

There are no binding commitments for Climate Mayors members.

In addition, we ask members of the Climate Mayors network to join in occasional letters and statements, as well as substantive initiatives like our electric vehicle (EV) purchasing collaborative.

BY SIGNING ON, CITIES INDICATE THAT THEY ARE PURSUING ACTIONS TO ACHIEVE AN EMISSIONS REDUCTION TARGET THROUGH:

  • Developing a community Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory

  • Setting near- and long-term targets to reduce emissions

  • Developing a Climate Action Plan aligned with the city’s targets.
