Since taking office, he has driven a results-focused agenda to modernize city government, strengthen public safety, and position Cleveland as a city of choice for residents and businesses alike. Now in his second term, Mayor Bibb is advancing the Cleveland Era, a focused agenda to revive industrial roots, build safer neighborhoods, and govern with efficiency. This includes investing in a $100M Shovel-Ready Sites Fund to reactivate 1,000 acres, generating 25,000 good jobs. Mayor Bibb is a leader on public safety and climate action, serving in key roles with organizations focused on reducing gun violence and advancing sustainability.

Mayor Buffaloe is Climate Mayors Vice Chair and was Columbia’s first ever Sustainability Manager serving from 2010-2021. She is part of the Bloomberg Harvard Civic Leadership program, which equips mayors and senior city officials to tackle complex challenges in their cities and improve the quality of life of their residents. She has held accreditation through Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) since 2004. In her role as Vice Chair, Mayor Buffaloe works to elevate the voice of mayors working together, and cities working on climate action and raising awareness at the global level through her participation in gatherings like London Climate Action Week.

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston was inaugurated as the 46th Mayor of Denver in 2023. Mayor Mike Johnston is showing how cities are leading on electric bus deployment and rethinking infrastructure to cut emissions as Denver pilots a new thermal energy network that uses water and geothermal energy to heat and cool downtown buildings, replacing its aging, fossil fuel-powered system. By reusing existing infrastructure and tapping new energy sources, the city is decarbonizing buildings, which are its largest source of emissions.

Since the start of his administration, Denver has achieved historic reductions in street homelessness, enhanced public safety, expanded affordable housing, and downtown revitalization.

Mayor Lock Dawson is the first UC Riverside graduate and second woman to be elected to Riverside’s only citywide office in its 150-year history. She has an extensive record of service to Riverside, the Inland Southern California region, and the state. As an environmental scientist and wildlife biologist by training, Mayor Lock Dawson was instrumental in passing legislation to secure tens of millions of dollars in state and federal funds for regional conservation, habitat, and infrastructure projects. She is well-known across the state as a champion of the Santa Ana River—the namesake of the City of Riverside.
