The Boston Housing Authority is helping seniors and adults with disabilities lower their energy bills with clean, high-quality heating and cooling technology. In partnership with Gradient, the City is installing 100 heat pumps in a 50-year-old public housing community—replacing the building’s currently outdated and inefficient technology. These upgrades will not only bring lower bills—but also help reduce overall energy use, improve indoor and outdoor air quality, and reduce operating costs for building ownership.
