Climate Mayors announces our partnership with Crosswalk Labs, Inc to bring mayors a custom GHG portal for member cities to use at no cost to them. The custom portal will allow mayors to see your scope 1 and scope 2 CO2 emissions at a granular level.  That granularity will empower mayors to understand your city’s current emissions, how those emissions change over time, and compare with other cities in the Climate Mayors network in overall emissions and emissions normalized based on criteria such as population.

The measurement, reporting, and verification portal is designed to present a digital twin of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in every neighborhood of the United States, annually, since 2010 using publicly available data and a uniform methodology.  The model generates emissions estimates down to the scale of points (industrial facilities, power plants, airports), lines (on-road vehicular emissions), and polygons (census block aggregation of buildings).
