The South of Downtown Residential Rental Rehabilitation Program helps property owners improve and preserve affordable rental housing in Lincoln’s South of Downtown neighborhood, with up to $15,000 per dwelling unit for upgrades such as energy-efficient windows and doors, insulation, and roofing. In exchange, participating properties must stay at or below HUD Fair Market Rents for 20 years.
