Climate Mayors Vice Chair, Mayor Barbara Buffaloe participated in the State of Climate Politics Forum at London Climate Action Week, joining global political leaders, policymakers, and climate experts for a high-level discussion on the future of climate action.

Mayor Buffaloe shared how city leaders can be more attuned to how they talk about climate and its impacts on people’s daily lives: “People don’t experience ‘policy’. They experience comfort in a well-insulated home. They experience joy when walking down a tree-lined street. They experience more money in their pocket and not going to utility bills.”
